Amir Khan announces Maidana fight

Amir Khan has revealed his next fight will be against Marcos Maidana and will be broadcast on Sky TV on December 11 via social networking site Twitter.
In a tweet earlier today, Khan said “All legality work for the next fight has been done. Fight has been signed by both parties. Khan vs Maidana December 11th Venue – tbc. On @hboboxing and sky.”
Boxingscene.com report that the fight is likely to take place at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The fight is likely to be a pay tv offering in the early hours of the morning. Khan, 23, is the current WBA World light welterweight champion, and Maidana, 27, the WBA’s interim Super Lightweight champion.
