Former Sky Sports frontman Richard Keys will make a dramatic return to British television screens on Friday 30 September when he presents the launch night of the new dedicated boxing channel, BoxNation (Sky Channel 456).
Keys, who has been presenting a mid-morning sports programme on talkSPORT with Andy Gray since leaving Sky in January joins a lineup of presenters and commentators on BoxNation which also includes Jim Rosenthal, Paul Dempsey and John Rawling.
Keys said: “The circumstances of my departure from Sky after twenty successful years has been well documented. I am very happy and thoroughly enjoying working with Talksport and my old mate Andy Gray but the launch of BoxNation is very exciting and I am thrilled to be part of it. It’s fantastic news for sports fans throughout the country.”
Simon Green, BoxNation’s CEO, said, “I am thrilled that such an accomplished broadcaster as Richard Keys will be opening BoxNation’s LIVE fight coverage. This emphasizes just how impressive a channel it will be showing Frank Warren, Sauerland and Golden Boy live promotions.”
