ESPN has signed up Kevin Keegan in a new multi-year deal. The new agreement will see Kevin act as lead analyst for ESPN’s coverage of the Barclays Premier League and FA Cup.
Upon the announcement of the deal, Keegan said: “I’ve had a great time working with ESPN since they launched their first live channel in the UK. They have brought a fresh and innovative approach to their coverage of the Barclays Premier League and FA Cup, and I’m absolutely delighted to continue as part of that team. I share ESPN’s approach to focusing on fans.”
Jeroen Oerlemans, ESPN Vice President, TV Channels Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “Kevin is a true legend of the game. He has played and managed at the highest level and his input and analysis has been a key component of ESPN’s coverage of the Barclays Premier League and FA Cup over the past two years. We’re very pleased that Kevin has committed himself to ESPN as he continues to offer his unrivalled experience and opinion to football fans around the UK and Ireland.”
ESPN’s football analyst line-up also includes Steve McManaman, Chris Waddle and Craig Burley with presentation led by Ray Stubbs, Jon Champion, Rebecca Lowe and Derek Rae.
