Sky Sports are ready to cross new boundaries once again (no pun intended) as they gear up to show the NatWest One Day International opener between England and Bangladesh on Thursday 8 July.
Coverage is being broadcast live on Sky 3D to over 1,000 venues in the UK and Ireland, providing a unique perspective as viewers get a taste of 3D cricket for the very first time.
Paul King, Sky Sports Executive Cricket Producer, said: “This is a revolution in cricket broadcasting creating a view of the action never seen before. I’m sure our viewers will be stunned by the results.”
England pace bowler Jimmy Anderson said “I’ve seen Sky 3D and it’s a phenomenal viewing experience. I can’t wait to see what I and the rest of the lads look like in 3D!”
