Eurosport will broadcast the UCI Track Cycling World Cup for the next two seasons in the run up to the London 2012 Olympics.
The 2010-11 series includes racing from Melbourne, Cali (Colombia), Beijing and Manchester, with Eurosport the only broadcaster in the UK to be showing the Melbourne, Cali and Beijing events. The opening round takes place in Melbourne on Monday, December 6, where Sir Chris Hoy will spearhead Great Britain’s squad in an attempt to get his London 2012 Olympic qualifying campaign off and running.
For the 2011-12 season a London 2012 Olympic test event will be part of the series, replacing the round in Manchester.
