The FA Cup 5th Round replay between Birmingham City and Chelsea has been selected for live broadcast by ITV1 on Tuesday 6 March, whilst ESPN will screen the game between Tottenham Hotspur and Stevenage the following day.
Chris Hughton’s Birmingham City side earned a replay after a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 18 February. The match at St.Andrews will be shown live on ITV1 on Tuesday 6 March, with a kick-off at 7.45pm. The winners of the replay will play Leicester City in the 6th Round.
Stevenage played out a goalless draw at the Lamex Stadium in front of a sell-out crowd of 6,332 in Gary Smith’s third game in charge. The League One play-off contenders held their own against a strong Spurs side which featured the likes of Gareth Bale, Jermain Defoe and recent signing Louis Saha.
The match at White Hart Lane will be broadcast live on ESPN on Wednesday 7 March, with a kick-off at 7.30pm. The winners of the replay will play Bolton Wanderers at home for a place in the Semi-Final at Wembley Stadium.
