The Scottish Football League and BBC Scotland have agreed that the Semi Final tie in The Scottish Communities League Cup between Falkirk and Celtic will be shown live on BBC One Scotland on Sunday 29 January 2012, kick off 3pm.
The tie will be played at Hampden Park and also be streamed live on the BBC Sport website, while BBC Radio Scotland will provide commentary.
First Division Falkirk have beaten League Cup holders Rangers and Dundee United en route to the last four of this season’s tournament. Celtic, who last won the trophy in 2009, have beaten Ross County and Hibernian.
Ayr United meet Kilmarnock in the other semi-final, to be played at Hampden on Saturday 28 January, with a 1pm kick off.
