Celtic’s pre-season fixture against Australia A-League side, Perth Glory will be screened live on Premier Sports on Saturday 9 July at 10am.
The match will be played at the nib Stadium and is the second of Celtic’s three match tour of Australia, having previously lost 1-0 to Central Coast Mariners last weekend.
Speaking of the fixture, Paul Kelly, Perth Glory CEO said : “Perth Glory is delighted to play Celtic in a friendly later this year. This is a great time for the club following several key player signings headlined by Shane Smeltz. We are sure our fans share our excitement as the game will showcase some of the best footballers in the world,”
He added : “Celtic is a European powerhouse, regularly playing the best footballing teams in the world through the UEFA Champions League competition. They have massive international support and play a very attractive brand of football that I’m sure will excite the people of Perth”
Premier Sports broadcasts on Sky Channel 433, however is not currently available on Virgin Media or BT Vision.
