Man City v Villarreal

Date: Tues 18 Oct | Venue: Etihad StadiumKick-off: 7.45pm | Coverage : Sky Sports HD2

Villarreal CF are looking to avoid a third successive Group A defeat when they visit a Manchester City who are also determined to make up lost ground on matchday three.
City took their first UEFA Champions League point when drawing at home to SSC Napoli but their subsequent defeat at FC Bayern München leaves them just a point better off than Juan Carlos Garrido’s Villarreal, beaten at home by Bayern and at Napoli in their opening two games.

FC Otelul Galati v Man Utd

Date: Tues 18 Oct | Venue: National Arena |  Kick-off: 7.45pm | Coverage : Sky Sports HD4

Manchester United FC will go in search of their first victory in Group C at the third attempt when they visit FC Otelul Galati on matchday three.

Otelul are tournament newcomers and continue their quest to claim their first points in the competition, having lost narrowly at Basel (1-2) and at home against SL Benfica (0-1).

Chelsea v Genk

Date: Wed 19 Oct | Venue: Stamford Bridge |  Kick-off: 7.45pm | Coverage : Sky Sports HD2

Chelsea FC have made their customary strong start in the UEFA Champions League and in their first meeting with KRC Genk will be looking to extend an unbeaten home record in the group stage which stretches back eight years.

Genk marked their return to Europe’s elite club competition after nine years with a hard-earned point at home to Valencia in their first game. They then went down 2-0 at Leverkusen two weeks later.

Marseille v Arsenal

Date: Wed 19 Oct | Venue: Stade Vélodrome |  Kick-off: 7.45pm | Coverage : ITV1 HD

Adrian Chiles presents Arsenal’s big Champions League test against Olympic Marseille at the Stade Velodrome. The loss of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri in August as well as a run of four defeats in seven Premier League games has made this the toughest time for Arsene Wenger in his 15 years at the club. It promises to be another tricky night for the Gunners against a Marseille team that tops Group F and has won both its opening games in the Champions League. Analysis by Gareth Southgate with commentary by Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend.
