Champions League football makes a return this week as the group stage continues on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 November.

Sky Sports will show comprehensive live coverage of matches including 3 domestic sides, Arsenal, Manchester City & Manchester United.  ITV1′s pick on Wednesday night sees Chelsea visit Bayer Leverkusen.  Sky Sports will screen all remaining fixtures live via the red button.

Napoli v Manchester City

Date: Tues 22 Nov | Venue: Sao PaoloKick-off: 7.45pm | Coverage : Sky Sports HD2

Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City visit Napoli in what looks to be a straight knockout tie. Napoli can draw strength from not just their 1-1 draw in Manchester on matchday one, but their formidable recent home record in Europe; since returning to continental competition after 13 years in 2008, they are unbeaten in ten matches. The last foreign team to prevail in Naples were Eintracht Frankfurt in December 1994.

Manchester United v Benfica

Date: Tues 22 Nov | Venue: Old Trafford |  Kick-off: 7.45pm | Coverage : Sky Sports HD4

United will look to book their passage to the knockout stage for the sixth season running at home against Benfica, who held them to a 1-1 draw in Lisbon on matchday one. Benfica come to Old Trafford with some ominous cards stacked against them; United’s home record in ten games against Portuguese sides reads W8 D2 L0. The visitors, however, have yet to lose on their travels in Europe this season, and Óscar Cardozo – their scorer against United last time out – scored six further goals in four matches against English sides in the 2009/10 UEFA Europa League.

Arsenal v Borussia Dortmund

Date: Wed 23 Nov| Venue: Emirates Stadium |  Kick-off: 7.45pm | Coverage : Sky Sports HD2

A win at the fourth attempt in Group F has reignited Borussia Dortmund’s belief that the qualifying berths are still within reach but they face a difficult task at the home of Arsenal FC, who hold a one-point advantage at the head of the group. Victory for Arsene Wenger’s team would assure them of a place in the knockout rounds for the 12th successive season.

Bayer Leverkusen v Chelsea

Date: Wed 23 Nov | Venue:  BayArena |  Kick-off: 7.45pm | Coverage : ITV1 HD

Adrian Chiles introduces live coverage of what is a crucial Champions League clash for Chelsea against Bayer Leverkusen in Germany. It has been a mixed first season for Chelsea under their coach Andre Villas-Boas and the Portuguese boss will be desperate for a morale-boosting result tonight. A defeat for Chelsea would take their qualification bid to the last round of group games. With analysis from Gareth Southgate and commentary by Peter Drury and Jim Beglin.
