There’s a big night of televised International Football involving domestic teams next Friday, September 3 as the Euro 2012 Qualifying stages kick-off. First up sees Armenia take on the Republic of Ireland in the Group B qualifier from the Hanrapetakan Stadium in Yerevan in a 16:00 kick-off on Sky Sports 1.
This match is followed by a 18:30 kick-off on Sky Sports 3 when Montenegro take on Wales in the Group G qualifier from the Podgorica City Stadium. England, Switzerland and Bulgaria are the other teams that make up this group.
Later, attention turns to the Group I qualifer in a 19:15 kick-off as Scotland face Lithuania at the Darius Girenas Stadium in Kaunas. The match will be broadcast live in ‘Sportscene’ on BBC One Scotland in a programme presented by Rob Maclean with guests Pat Nevin and John Collins. Commentary is from Liam McLeod and John Robertson.
At 19:45, Northern Ireland are in action in Group C against Slovenia at Stadion Ljudski, Maribor live on Sky Sports 1 where Nigel Worthington is the man tasked with leading the visitors.
Finally, at 20:00 England take on Bulgaria live from Wembley in the Group G qualifier where Fabio Capello and his men will be hoping to get off to a good start after a dismal World Cup performance. The match is live on ITV1, presented by Adrian Chiles who is joined by Gareth Southgate and Andy Townsend. Clive Tyldsley is behind the microphone.
