There’s another big night of live International Football involving domestic teams on Friday, October 8 as the next round of European Qualifiers commence.
First up is the Czech Republic v Scotland, in a 19:15 kick-off live on BBC One Scotland. Stephen McManus’s dramatic late winner against Liechtenstein, coupled with the Czechs’ surprise home defeat to Lithuania, have put the Scots in a favourable position in Group I. However, this could be a crunch match against the team many feel will be Scotland’s biggest rivals for second place in the group behind world and European champions Spain.
Rob Maclean introduces live coverage on BBC Scotland, kick-off at 19:15 with studio analysis from Pat Nevin and John Collins and commentary from Liam McLeod and Kevin Gallacher.
All other domestic internationals on Friday are live on Sky Sports. First up is a Group G qualifier as Wales take on Bulgaria live from the Millennium Stadium live on Sky Sports 3 in a 19:30 kick-off. Later, in a Group C qualifier, Northern Ireland take on Italy live from Windsor Park, Belfast from 19:45 on Sky Sports 1. Meanwhile, the Republic of Ireland face Russia at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin in a Group B qualifier live on Sky Sports 2 in another 19:45 kick-off.
