The opening matchday of the group stages of the 2010 UEFA Champions League get underway on Tuesday, September 14 and with 5 domestic teams in the competition it promises to be an eventful year.
Coverage gets underway in a 19:45 kick off with Sky Sports 2 / HD2 on Tuesday, September 14 in a game with much domestic interest as Manchester United face Rangers at Old Trafford in their opening Group C encounter.
Meanwhile, at the same time, Tottenham make their debut in the competition proper as they visit Werder Bremen a game that can be seen live on Sky Sports 4.
ITV1′s choice of match on Wednesday, September 15 is the Arsenal v Braga, again a 19:45 kick off. Braga qualified for the group stages after an impressive win in Seville. Adrian Chiles presents the action alongside Andy Townsend and Gareth Southgate live from the Emirates Stadium. Clive Tyldesley provides the commentary alongside Jim Beglin.
Also on Wednesday, September 15 in another 19:45 kick off, Chelsea open their campaign with a trip to Slovakian side MSK Zilina, who were their first Champions League opponents after the takeover by Roman Abramovich. The match is live on Sky Sports 2.
