The first match day of the 2010 Europa Cup Group Stages takes place on Thursday, September 16 with Five, ESPN & ITV4 broadcasting games.
First up is Manchester City who commence their Group A campaign with a tricky looking tie against Salzburg, reigning Austrian Champions in a 18:00 kick-off live on ESPN.
At the same time, ITV4 start their double bill of non-English Europa League action with Aris Salonika v Atletico Madrid in a 18:00 kick-off, followed by Sevilla v Paris St German at 20:05. Matt Smith is joined by Andy Townsend for the ITV4 coverage with Peter Drury and Clive Tyldesley commentating.
Channel Five (as Richard Desmond prefers them to be known) have the first pick of the Europa ties and are screening the Liverpool v Steaua Bucharest tie from Group K. The match kicks off at 20:05 live from Anfield with Dave Woods commentating.
It’s over to ESPN for the Group I encounter between PSV and Sampdoria if that what takes your fancy in another 20:05 kick-off.
