FA Cup and Premier League double winners Chelsea take on Premier League runners-up Manchester United in The FA Community Shield sponsored by McDonald’s at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 8 August 2010. The Premier League powerhouses will be hoping for early bragging rights by picking up the first silverware of the season.
The traditional curtain raiser for the new Premier League season will be screened live on Sky Sports 1HD with coverage commencing at 14:30. The game will also be available on Sky 3D in over 1,000 pubs and clubs throughout the UK.
For terrestrial viewers, ITV1 will screen highlights at 22:15 on Sunday, August 8, Matt Smith presents with commentary from Peter Drury and Chris Coleman.
