How is Jock Stein not in this list?
how isn’t the one and only brian clough on here, he’s one of the best managers to ever stood on the touchline. what he did to derby country and nottingham forest was fantastic. the greatest manager england never had
Where is Mr Brian Clough ? He should be in this list
How can Lippi not make this list?
I think Bill Nicholson deserves a mention here! 1 League title, 3 F.A Cups, 2 League Cups, the Cup Winners Cup, a UEFA Cup and UEFA Cup runners up medal! This was all done playing attractive football and included making Spurs the first British club to win a European trophy and the first team in the 20th century to win a league and cup double.
how about arsene wenger……. 11 honouurs in 15 years
Clough achieved things that will never be repeated. Two League Championships with small clubs he built from nowhere and incredibly two European titles with Forest. Built winning teams spending very little in comparison with modern day football on which success depends on spend I.e Chelsea Real or Man City
how can you possibly have any “greatest managers” list without the likes of brian clough and arsene wenger? i mean, winning the european title with a recently promoted team, going an ENTIRE season unbeaten – these are feats that will possibly never be repeated!
i hope there is going to be a second series!
