The Blue Square Bet Premier League have confirmed that Premier Sports will broadcast the opening fixture in this season’s Blue Square Bet Premier Division free-to-air on Sky Channel 433.
The Football Conference broadcasters have announced that the fixture will be Forest Green Rovers vs Stockport County and will be played on Friday 12 August with the programme commencing at 7.15pm, and the kick-off at 7.45pm.
The move has been made as a special one off to showcase the competition to as wide an audience as possible. It will bring to fans, not only of those clubs involved but all followers of the non-league game, a front seat for all the action as the season unfolds in the fight to gain promotion to the Football League.
Gary Brabin, the Luton Town manager, will be guest of presenters Steve Bower and Ian Snodin.
As previously reported by touchline.tv, Premier Sports are scheduled to screen 30 matches live this coming season and the monthly subscription to the channel is £6.99 and can be booked by following the details on Channel 433 or via Premier Sports website.
