Scotland will take on Brazil in an international friendly at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 27th March with live coverage on ITV1 and ITV.com.
The international friendly is part of Brazil’s World Tour, which has already seen the South Americans take on local rivals Argentina and 1998 world champions France.
The fixture will mark the 10th time Brazil and Scotland have met in both competitive and friendly fixtures, with Scotland yet to secure their first win against the Brazilians. It is the first meeting between the two sides since the curtain raiser to the 1998 FIFA World Cup, in which defending champions won 2-1.
Brazil boss Mano Menezes has named a squad of big-name players, including Maicon, Lúcio and Alexandre Pato, as well as Chelsea defender David Luiz and rising star Neymar.
Adrian Chiles will be joined by Gordon Strachan and Gareth Southgate in the studio for the ITV1 coverage with commentary from Peter Drury and Craig Burley.
For viewers in Scotland, STV will produce their own coverage with presenter Gerry McCulloch joined by ex-Scotland and now Birmingham FC manager Alex McLeish. STV match commentary will be provided by ESPN’s Derek Rae, with expert analysis from former Scotland striker Kevin Gallacher, who played against Brazil in the 1998 World Cup.
The match kicks off at 2pm on Sunday, 27th March.
