ESPN announce line-up of pre-season friendlies

ESPN has announced a packed line-up of exclusive pre-season football friendlies, featuring Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, and Everton as the Barclays Premier League clubs embark on their pre-season tours.

ESPN will bring viewers all games from Arsenal and Liverpool’s tours of Asia, starting on 13th July as the Gunners take on a Malaysia XI while Liverpool face China’s Guangdong Sunray Cave. Then, on 16th July, Arsenal travel to face Hangzhou Greentown FC, while it’s the turn of Kenny Dalglish’s men to play the Malaysia XI. Fans can follow the clubs’ pre-season return to Europe on ESPN, with live coverage of Arsenal’s games against Cologne on 23rd July and Benfica on 7th August, as well as Liverpool’s visit to face Valerenga FC in Norway on 1st August before they welcome Valencia to Anfield on 6th August.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur’s tour of South Africa is exclusive to ESPN, starting with a fixture against Kaiser Chiefs on 16th July, followed on 19th July by a clash with the Orlando Pirates. Everton’s preparations for the new season begin in America as they take on MLS outfit DC United on 23rd July, live and exclusive on ESPN.
