Scottish Cup 6th round ties on TV

THE Scottish Football Association have confirmed the timings of the Scottish Cup sixth-round ties over the weekend of 12 and 13 March. Three of the the ties have been selected for live TV coverage on Sky Sports and BBC Scotland.
The match between St Mirren and Aberdeen will be televised live by the BBC with a 12.15pm kick-off on Saturday, 12 March. Brechin v St Johnstone takes place on the same day at 3pm, although that tie has not been selected for live coverage.
Sunday, 13 March, will see Dundee United playing Motherwell at 1.15pm and Inverness taking on Rangers or Celtic, who drew 2-2 in their fifth-round tie last Sunday, at 3pm. Both of the Sunday matches will be televised live by Sky Sports.

This is a joke. Where is the support for the lower division teams from the TV companies. A chance like this for a small club like Brechin does not come along often. Who wants to see St Mirren v Aberdeen anyway?
