STV are launching a brand new dedicated football show, featuring big name interviews and action from the Clydesdale Bank Premier League. Sports Centre: Friday Night Football will run for one hour on Friday’s starting on August 13 at 22:35 and will be presented by Gerry McCulloch and Sheelagh McLaren.
The show will feature guests, analysis, comment and a full preview of the weekend’s action. The programme will also feature action from the Champions League and Europa League.
In addition to the new show, STV have today announced a new partnership deal with the SPL which will see the channel provide archive, camera and production services to the SPL. STV will also manage the SPL archive and digitise material for future online use. STV’s deal with the SPL will run for two seasons till the end of the 2011/12 season.

We’re ideally placed to provide them with a range of key services and today’s deal allows us to provide football fans across Scotland with a dedicated Clydesdale Bank Premier League football show every Friday evening, in addition to our weeknight Sports Centre updates.”
