Eurosport 2 will broadcast live coverage of this weekend’s 2011 Rolex 24 at Daytona on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th January.
The race will see former British Formula One stars Martin Brundle and Mark Blundell team up to contest the Florida endurance race with United Autosports in a Ford-Riley Daytona Protype. The British duo raced together at the Brabham and Ligier Formula One teams in 1991 and 1993 respectively.
Other Britons competing include 2008 winner and triple IndyCar champion Dario Franchitti and 2010 victor Ryan Dalziel, both from Scotland.
American racer Jimmie Johnson will look to add the title to his five consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup victories, seeking to become the third driver to win both the Daytona 500 and the 24 Hours of Daytona after Mario Andretti and AJ Foyt.
Coverage of the Daytona 24 Hours can be seen live from 9.30pm on Saturday 29th January and from 7:45pm on Sunday 30th January on British Eurosport 2.
