The Intercontinental Rally Challenge has announced details of the live television coverage planned for the Rally of Scotland, the penultimate round of the 2011 IRC season in October.
British Eurosport will show live coverage of stages five and seven from Errochty, on Saturday 8 October, and stages 11 and 13 – High Corrie, on Sunday 9 October.
Jean-Pierre Nicolas, the IRC’s Motorsport Development Manager, said that fans watching Rally of Scotland on television would be treated to a spectacular show: “Errochty is a model stage: fast, quite wide, flowing with a perfect surface. High Corrie is very tricky and technical with lots of possibilities to make mistakes. The action will be spectacular.”
The coverage will use five fixed camera locations, 10 on-board cameras and a helicopter camera to cover the action.
