Winter sports season is almost upon us and so if you enjoy watching some people hurtle down a mountainside at breakneck speed then check out Eurosports coverage of the Alpine Skiing World Cup.
The 2010/11 FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup, is the top international circuit of alpine skiing competitions and will see some of the sport’s leading athletes compete at top resorts across the globe.
This year’s competition gets underway with the men’s and women’s slalom in Levi, Finland, before a visit to the beautiful Lake Louise in Canada for the men’s downhill and super-G. Meanwhile the women head to Aspen in Colorado for the slalom and giant slalom.
Austria’s Maria Reisch took the women’s overall slalom title last season to add to her Vancouver Olympic gold medal, whilst Germany’s Reinfried Herbst scooped the men’s crown. But in a wide-open field it could be anyone’s title this time around, so join British Eurosport for what should be an exciting season of skiing.
