Rishi Persad will present daily BBC Two coverage of the tournament from the Potter’s Leisure Resort, Hopton-on-Sea, Norfolk with commentary from David Corkill, John Price, Andy Thompson and Greg Harlow.
World Bowls Tour Chief Executive Nigel Oldfield said : “The World Indoor Championships have gone from strength to strength since we first came to Norfolk in 1999. The facilities here are superb – unprecedented around the world – and the support we get is excellent.”

“Hosting these championships has attracted hundreds of thousands of bowls enthusiasts to Potters – not just to watch the world’s best players during the championships but also to play on our rinks throughout the year.
“Our association with the World Bowls Tour has proved to be a perfect partnership and we look forward to celebrating our tenth anniversary next year.”

Why are there no results of matches on Teletext, or in the press ?
Why does Bowling only get 2 hours daily coverage on BBC when Darts and Snooker get much more? I know that there is extra cover on red button but not everyone has this facility.
Some smart guy on BBC forgot to inform the viewers which country was playing who! I love to watch indoor bowls and yesterday and today (28 jan. 2012) I was frustrated by the fact that the screen does not inform me what country a player represents. Come BBC I know the yearly licence fee is in limbo but you cant be so broke.
