BBC One will broadcast live coverage of this post Rugby World Cup fixture, giving fans the chance to see the returning Wales side on home soil for the first time since the New Zealand tournament.
John Inverdale introduces live coverage from the Millennium Stadium as the two World Cup losing semi-finalists go head-to-head in a friendly encounter.
Australia edged out Wales 21-18 in the battle for the bronze medal in Eden Park, Auckland. Shane Williams and Leigh Halfpenny both scored tries for the Welsh that day to cancel out efforts from Berrick Barnes and Ben McCalman but they ultimately fell short.
That defeat means that Wales have beaten the Wallabies only once in their last seven meetings; a narrow 21-18 home victory in November 2008. Williams, his countries’ record try scorer, will retire from international rugby after this match so will be keen to go out on a high.
Wales v Australia is live on BBC One (HD) on Saturday 3 December, coverage starts at 2pm (kick off 2.30pm) – Brian Moore and Eddie Butler will be in the commentary box.
