The Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, the third ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament of the year on the ATP World Tour will be held at the Monte-Carlo Country Club between April 10-17 and be broadcast live on Sky Sports throughout the week.
This year, the draw consists of 18 of the Top 25 players in the 2011 ATP Rankings, including eight of the Top 10. Reigning six-time champ Rafael Nadal is the lone former winner in the field, with the line-up also including Roger Federer, Andy Murray and David Ferrer.
All of the top eight seeds receive first-round byes, however third seed, Andy Murray faces one of the former top-10 players in round two in the form of either Radek Stepanek or Marcos Baghdatis.
The Monte-Carlo Masters is one of three outdoor clay-court ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments (Rome, Madrid) while four others are on hard courts in North America (Indian Wells, Miami Cincinnati, Montreal), while two are later in the year (Shanghai, Paris).
The 2011 ATP World Tour ends with the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, the official year-end tournament held in London.
