WTA Championships Doha on Eurosport

The women’s tennis elite will meet in Doha later this month as the showcase finale to the WTA season begins. The tournament features top players like Kim Clijsters, Caroline Wozniacki and Jelena Jankovic who will all be aiming to oust reigning champ Serena Williams, as the tour’s top eight compete for the $1.5 million prize.
Players will compete in two groups in a round-robin format, with the top two from each group progressing to the semi-finals. Last year’s final saw sisters Serena and Venus Williams compete for the prestigious title, with Serena beating her big sister, and they’re likely to be among the title favourites again this year.
Eurosport are covering the tournament which starts on British Eurosport from 14:30 on Tuesday, October 26. Coverage is also available in HD.
